Ben’s teaching philosophy is simple:
He wants to HELP YOU become the drummer and musician that you were created to be.
Everyone’s musical journey looks different. There are an infinite amount of ways to get from point A to point B, and that’s why Ben works with each and every student on an individual basis to come up with a game plan that will best HELP YOU.

With years of private teaching experience and a Music Education degree from Berklee College of Music, Ben models his teaching style after the many accomplished drummers and educators who once instructed him; most notably Terri Lyne Carrington (Grammy Award winner, Herbie Hancock, Esperanza Spalding), Mike Mangini (Dream Theater), Casey Scheuerell (Jean Luc Ponty, Chaka Khan), Jackie Santos (John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Tavares), Steve Wilkes (Blue Man Group), Thierry Arpino (Jean Luc Ponty) and Tony "Thunder" Smith (Lou Reed, Jan Hammer), among others.
